A little sprinkle of Turmeric

Turmeric seems to be the new buzz word. I first heard about it a few years ago but didn’t realise it’s full potential until quite recently. I was told by a naturopath to make turmeric my best friend! So I make sure I add half a teaspoon of organic turmeric to my morning smoothie every day. You can add to soups or drink as a shot with coconut, hemp or almond milk. Who needs tequila? Some of the health benefits include reducing gas/bloating, improved skin conditions such as eczema and acne, it aids your ability to digest fats and is a powerful anti-inflammatory. The taste is very strong so I wouldn’t advise using more than half a teaspoon. I actually really like the taste. Here’s a photo of it thrown in my morning smoothie, the bright orange stuff 😁
