Baobab Baby!

Am I the only person who hasn’t heard of baobab fruit?! This is another recent discovery for me and again I have no idea how to pronounce it! I was told by my naturopath to add 1 teaspoon of Baobab powder to my morning smoothie, as it has many benefits and is particularly good for raising energy levels, healthy skin, immune function, improves digestion, raises mental alertness and absorption of iron. It is loaded with vitamin C and is also almost 50% fibre (two thirds soluble and one third insoluble, making it a powerful prebiotic) and contains more antioxidants than any other whole fruit. It doesn’t taste of anything so you don’t even know you’re drinking it! You can buy Baobab powder online or at any health food shop – make sure it’s organic! 😁
