How Coenzyme Q10 can help with fatigue

When I have bouts of fatigue I take a capsule of CoQ10 once a day for a few months, it definitely helps boost me and I only take it when I’m really bad, as it’s not good to continually take as your body gets too used to it, so I am told!

This is why it helps and what it actually is, as up until 18 months ago I had never heard of it.

Coenzyme Q10 is a nutrient which occurs naturally in the body if you are fit and healthy. It acts as an antioxidant, which means it protects cells from damage and plays a huge part in your metabolism. It plays a key role in your body’s energy supply process. It is present in every cell in your body and it can enhance blood flow and protect blood vessels.

Several diseases are associated with low CoQ10 levels, these include Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Depression, Migraines, Parkinsons and the aftermath of a heart attack. Please note that I am only advising from the angle of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as I’m not a medical expert, far from it!

I first took this little magic capsule 18 months ago. It takes a few weeks to really start noticing the benefits, but it definitely gave me more energy to get out of bed and less achy joints.
